Deploy an app to Hetzner

To deploy to Hetzner Cloud you create a server, install a container runtime and reverse proxy, then ship your app. Here are the steps.

  1. Create a Hetzner Cloud project and API token.
  2. Create a server (for example a small shared-vCPU type).
  3. Install Docker and a reverse proxy such as Caddy.
  4. Run your app container and point a domain at the server for HTTPS.

How CloudHostAI works

CloudHostAI deploys Git repositories to a server in your own Hetzner account. You connect a Hetzner API token. It provisions the server (default location Falkenstein, Germany, which you can change) and runs your app in Docker behind Caddy. Caddy issues a Let’s Encrypt certificate when you point a custom domain at the server. The platform fee is Free, Indie $19, Startup $39 or Team $99 per month. Hetzner bills the server to you separately (current plans, checked 2026-10-27).
